If you're someone who works with Google Sheets & LiveFlow regularly, you know how useful it is to be able to duplicate a Google Sheet tab and keep your LiveFlow reports live, so you wouldn’t have to reconfigure your whole sheet tab and report. That’s now possible!
Why is this useful?
Imagine you’ve created a Department Budgeting P&L Template, and you want to replicate it for 10 other departments quickly.
In the past, you would have to import a whole new LiveFlow report every time and reconfigure everything that you had custom-built. Now you can duplicate the sheet (and report) and simply swap the department on the report.
Today, we’re rolling out a new feature that allows you to duplicate a Google Sheets tab with a LiveFlow report and keep it live. That means no more time wasted on reconfiguring reports and sheets.
Here's how to do it
Step 1: Select a Sheet Tab with a LiveFlow Report
Choose the tab you want to duplicate that contains a LiveFlow report. Make sure it's the active tab so that you can see the LiveFlow report.
Step 2: Go to Extensions -> LiveFlow
On the top menu bar of your Google Sheet, click on Extensions. A drop-down menu will appear, and from there, select LiveFlow.
Step 3: Click on Duplicate Current Sheet & Live Report
Once you've selected LiveFlow, you'll see an option to duplicate the current sheet and its LiveFlow report. Click on this option, and a duplicate tab will be created with both your own content and your live report from LiveFlow.
