5 FAQs about LiveFlow’s Google Sheet Add-on

It’s been a couple months since we launched our Google Sheets Add-on and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive! For that we want to say a big thank you to all our users! Thanks to you, we’ve built out new features such as Live Reports (allowing you to automatically keep data updated in real time with one click) and expanded our Reports (recently including A/P and A/R reports).

Since we’ve been speaking to our users everyday, we’ve collected 5 of the most frequently asked questions to share with you.

Will my formulas break using Live Reports? 

When you refresh your reports, your cell references will not break! Your formulas will remain in place and you will not waste time setting up your spreadsheet again after refreshing your report.

We recommend you try this for yourself. Refresh all your reports and watch your data update in real time!

Can I connect more than one QuickBooks account?

Yes and it’s very easy! You can connect to as many QuickBooks entities as you like and quickly bring all your P&Ls together. See below for steps.

Once done, you can quickly write functions and formulas to summarize your numbers into a Consolidated P&L in Google Sheets (without spending hours manually importing data and creating reports).

How will you make sure that the data is accurate?

The data is pulled directly from your QuickBooks account and is updated in real-time. You will have a timestamp reflecting the last update. 

To ensure the best results with LiveFlow, we recommend that you always make sure that your QuickBooks data is well-managed, up-to-date and organized with precision.

Is my Data secure?

When communicating between systems, LiveFlow always uses TLS encryption, a cryptographic security protocol designed for privacy and data security. LiveFlow never sees your QuickBooks account credentials or any of your financial data. Your data is used only to populate this document – it never leaves Google's secure environment.
