Top 6 CRMs That Integrate with QuickBooks in 2022

With millions of active users, QuickBooks Online is the most popular business accounting tool in the world in 2022. As a result, some of our readers have asked for an article that addresses any CRM that integrates with QuickBooks.

From Payroll to record-keeping to business taxes, QuickBooks can manage all aspects of a company's bookkeeping processes, but it's not exactly an all-in-one solution.

QuickBooks doesn't come with any tools designed to help companies manage their customer relationships; for that, you'll need to use a customer relationship management (CRM) tool. Fortunately, QuickBooks knows this, and they have partnered with some of the best CRMs so that you can access your QuickBooks data from one convenient place.

In this guide, we will go over six CRMs that integrate directly with QuickBooks in 2022. We will explain what each CRM is, what each one does, and answer some important questions about using integrations to extend the functionality of QuickBooks.

Does QuickBooks integrate with a CRM?

Yes! QuickBooks integrates with a number of different CRM systems so that you can view and manage your QuickBooks financial data from directly within your existing CRM tools. This enables companies to quickly view customer sales and invoicing data, helps sales teams identify profitable leads, allows managers and support reps to view customer profiles and contact information, and much more.

What CRMs work with QuickBooks?

QuickBooks has partnered with a number of different CRMs so that users have many options in terms of what CRM they want to use while still having direct access to their QuickBooks financial data and existing customer information.

Some of the most popular CRMs in 2022 are as follows:

1. Method

2. Salesforce

3. Freshsales

4. Zoho

5. Insightly

6. HubSpot

Fortunately, QuickBooks integrates with each one of these powerful and dynamic CRM systems so that you can gain all of the features and functions of each CRM while still having access to all of the financial tools and analytics provided by QuickBooks.

Now, it’s worth mentioning that not all of these CRMs have the same level of QuickBooks support. Some of them only have basic or limited support when integrated with QuickBooks, whereas other CRMs on the list allow you to perform almost all QuickBooks functions from directly within the CRM itself.

So, let’s go over what each of these CRMs is, what each one does, and explain how each one works with QuickBooks so that you can decide whether or not you want to integrate your QuickBooks data with that particular CRM in 2022.

Method

Method is one of the best overall CRM solutions for companies that want to manage admin work, simplify contact management, and track customer activity. All of the tools available in Method allow sales and support teams to identify customer trends, manage leads, and convert more customers by optimizing workflows and automating many common sales and support processes.

What's more, QuickBooks integrates seamlessly with Method. In fact, of all the CRMs on this list, Method supports the most QuickBooks features from directly within the app. You can do almost everything you want to do in QuickBooks from inside of the Method CRM without having to open QuickBooks at all.

Once you connect your QuickBooks account to Method, you’ll be able to view vendor information, manage sales transactions, view customer profiles and contact information, make payments, and much more.

Although Method may not be the best CRM in the world, it certainly offers the most advanced QuickBooks integration and allows you to do more with QuickBooks than all of the other more powerful CRM systems such as Salesforce, Zoho, and Hubspot.

Salesforce

With the exception of Intercom (which does not yet integrate with QuickBooks,) Salesforce is by far the most powerful CRM in the world. Salesforce is used by teams all over the world and offers a ton of features to help companies with everything from customer acquisition, lead generation, customer support, technical support, sales, retention, marketing, and much more.

Salesforce is a robust solution that solves many of the problems companies face in terms of customer management, but right out of the box, Salesforce does not have many tools designed for handling and processing financial data, which is where the QuickBooks integration comes in handy.

Once connected with QuickBooks, you can view and send invoices, manage deposits, view customer profiles, and perform many of the other tasks that you would normally do within QuickBooks without having to leave the Salesforce dashboard. This lets you save time and view all of your most important information in one convenient place, rather than having to bounce back and forth between the two systems.

Freshsales

Freshsales is primarily a sales CRM, but it can do a few other things as well; for example, it features a built-in phone system for customer contact, and it also lets you manage your pipelines which, when partnered with other systems, can help you automate your outbound workflows.

It’s certainly not Salesforce, not even close, but Freshsales is significantly more affordable and provides some of the best sales systems found in the more expensive CRMs at a fraction of the price, making it a great option for companies just getting started that have a limited budget.

Freshsales is another CRM that integrates with QuickBooks online, and once connected, you can review your sales transaction data, view invoices, and track payment statuses from directly within either application. That’s about all you can do with this integration, but it’s better than nothing.

Unfortunately, you will need to most expensive Freshsales subscription package to be able to integrate with QuickBooks, but that’s still less than many of the packages offered by the bigger CRMs on this list.

Zoho

Zoho is gaining a ton of traction in the industry and is quickly earning a reputation as being one of the best overall CRMs for managing customer relationships and viewing insightful analytics data that empowers companies to scale exponentially.

With Zoho, companies can automate their workflows, manage sales and support pipelines, handle customer contact and follow-ups, create and implement campaigns, and much more. Best of all, Zoho integrates with QuickBooks so that you can access most of your existing financial data directly within Zoho.

Unfortunately, integrating Zoho CRM for QuickBooks is a bit of a pain in the backside. The other CRMs on this list can be connected to QuickBooks with a few clicks of the mouse, not Zoho. The process of integrating QuickBooks with Zoho is rather complicated, tedious, and time-consuming.

That said, it’s still worth doing. Once you connect QuickBooks to Zoho, you'll be able to do almost everything directly within your CRM. In fact, Zoho supports almost as many QuickBooks features as Method CRM.

Insightly

Insightly is another CRM that integrates with QuickBooks. It’s one of the best CRMs on the market in terms of customer data and analytics. It empowers companies to make the most of their data so that they can optimize their customer outreach and manage customer relations from one easy point of contact.

Unlike Zoho, Insightly can be integrated with QuickBooks with no hassle whatsoever. Once connected, the two systems can share vital information such as customer contact information, sales transaction histories, pending sales, and much more. This allows companies to make data-driven decisions directly within their CRM without having to keep track of everything across two different platforms.

The downside here is that Insightly can only view and manage QuickBooks data; you can't send QuickBooks invoices, make payments, or perform many of the other most important tasks that you would typically manage in QuickBooks. That said, Insightly is designed for companies looking to make the most of their data, and by connecting the CRM with QuickBooks, it can do that job even better than it already does.

HubSpot CRM

The last CRM on our list is HubSpot CRM. Hubspot has been around for over a decade, and it’s used by companies all over the world who want an all-in-one solution for sales, retention, marketing, and of course, managing customer relations and information.

One of the only areas where HubSpot has traditionally been lacking is financial data and processing, but this problem has finally been solved thanks to the new QuickBooks CRM integration. By connecting the two systems, companies can gain access to one of the most powerful overall CRM systems on the market in 2022 while still having access to most of the best features included with QuickBooks.

The only significant issue here is that HubSpot CRM is relatively cost-prohibitive, especially for small businesses and start-ups. To be fair, many of the best features of the CRM are available in a limited capacity for free, but to truly make the most of HubSpot CRM as an enterprise solution, you'll need to be prepared to make some room in your budget.

Summary

QuickBooks is the most powerful financial accounting tool on the market, but it doesn't include many features designed to help companies manage customer relationships. Fortunately, QuickBooks does integrate with many of the best CRMs available, so that by connecting your CRM with QuickBooks, you can build an all-in-one solution that should work well for your company and enable your business to scale while offering data-based decisions.
